Tatiana Chance, BA
Community Organizer (she/her)
Tatiana is a dedicated Black youth activist, non profit leader, and advocate for reproductive justice with deep roots in her community. She is dedicated to advancing menstrual equity and reproductive justice. At the age of 17, Tatiana founded Help 4 Huhas, a non-profit organization to address menstrual equity and access in SD. Tatiana has a passion for working to restore abortion access from a religiously motivated ban in South Dakota. Tatiana has extensive experience in abortion access work in South Dakota and serves on the board of Justice Through Empowerment Network, SD’s abortion fund and is the Midwest Regional Co-Lead for the Youth Abortion Support Collective through Advocates for Youth. She is the project lead of the Pasque Project and co-leads RJ by You, a micro-grant program for young and BIPOC leaders in South Dakota and Missouri. She leads youth communications work at the Period Pills Project. Tatiana earned her BA in theatre and education from Augustana University in 2023. Tatiana was awarded the David Norr Youth Activist award at American’s United Summit for Religious Freedom.
